Likely you are in the budget for a Xeon 1231 v3. It cannot overclock but offers same rendering performance as the i7 for the price of a i5. It also performs faster in games than the i5s and very similar to a i7.

Here are 2 nice builds.

Bit overbudget but nice colors and insane upgrade ability. Say to SLI GTX 980 if you dont want to pay for the 980 ti. The 980 ti SLI needs 850w.

CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($242.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 5 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($134.78 @ OutletPC)
Memory: G.Skill Trident X 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($94.99 @ Newegg)...
The FX chips will bottleneck the 980 ti. Very useless to have a 980 ti on a FX chip build. Even a 9590 clocked at 6 Ghz is SLOWER than a i5-4460 in ALL games.

Very unbalanced. What is your budget? I can get you a much much faster computer. Also what is this for? And are you planning to overclock?

Thank you very much for your answer. I didn't know AMD CPUs were that bad, ha ha. I want it for gaming, streaming and editing short videos. I would consider overclocking if it is imperative for the games of the future or if you recommend that to me. My budget would be around 1500 USD. Thanks :)

The 750w G2 is 100w overkill in this build but it is a VERY excellent unit and on sale.

If you wanted cheaper go with a 650W XFX XTR or the 750W EVGA B2. (EVGA only makes a 750w B2. And the G1/B1 series are low quality)

Wow. Thank you so much. I had not considered a Xeon processor but after your description it shall solve my needs. Also I don't mind overclocking so I can use stock cooler. It has hyperthreading and good TDP as well. I shall consider 980 SLI but I can't avoid thinking 4 GB VRAM might be low for the near future (the consoles are using now up to 5 GB VRAM). Thank you very much again.
