I am trying to build a new desktop. I don't know if it is a good idea to put an anti-static bag under the motherboard when I install it to the case. I just think maybe it will reduce static electricity. My case has standoff but I just think maybe it is possible. What do you think guys?

Thanks.

leaving anti static bag between standoffs in case and motherboard is not advised.
the anti-static features of the bag involve the fact that it conducts electricity (although not all that well) and that has no meaning in final build. Instead it will most likely have adverse effect.

Don't do it, no one else does it either.
