Hi I am confused Does intel core i5 6600K support DDR3 RAM ? I know it's support latest DDR4 but it to expensive..!

Yes all skylake will support both DDR3 and DDR4. However, it's the motherboard that get's the say so on which one it will use (or both).

Keep in mind the DDR3 it supportsIS NOT STANDARD DDR3, but rather the DDR3L (low voltage) version. Which is rare to find.

DDR4 is the same price as DDR3, unless your somewhere else besides the UK or US.

As you stated, it is up to the motherboard manufacturers, but there are also z170 boards that DO support standard ddr3, like this gigabyte one ( http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5488#ov ) you just have to look around, as they are hard to find.

Most of the manufacturers have DDR3 versions of the Z170 mobos, and the QVLs show numerous sets up to and above 2800 (which of course are 1.65 models. I doubt they would knowingly release these boards if not perfectly safe with the DRAM they list, think of the lawsuits they would face ;)
