I will be buying most of the components online or at stores near my house (Mumbai, India)
Also, can you suggest a better rig under the same budget? Preferably a i7 rig

You have to add a wifi card for 1500 more , buying a motherboard with inbuilt wifi costs over 20k

Add in a cabinet around 5k , total cost will be around 1L . Please note that this build is meant for full hd gaming only at ultra settings and 4k needs much different components and overall cost increase over 50k more.
And if you are buying i7 for gaming only then , you are overspending on the processor and should really go for an i5 6600K .

I made another rig after a bit of research. Is this good enough? And can you recommend another case as I feel the one I selected might not be good enough.http://www.amazon.in/gp/registry/wishlist/1JYXJC5VYZ1CN/ref=cm_wl_huc_view

you moved back to a year old hardware again. It is upto you , keep in mind , you are losing access to upcoming 32gbps sata drives and ddr4 memory which will be cheaper to upgrade in future.
And corsair vs 650 is just a trap , avg build quality , and cheap components. Gives up in 2-3 years. On the other hand seasonic ones have excellent build quality. and cost only 1000rs more for the 550W. seasonic has 5 year warranty while corsair only 3 year. Who do you think will fail first?
You dont need hdmi cable separately , VGA cable comes included and is enough for your monitor.
For the cabinet , http://www.amazon.in/Circle-CC-830-Professional-Cabinet/dp/B00OLKLEV4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1443175855&sr=8-1&keywords=cpu+cabinets
I am using it and would recommend it. Only if you want to install a double fan radiator liquid cooling , go for a costlier corsair one.
Also you are buying an overclockable processor , will you overclock it?

Nice , All is well now. You can hunt for lower prices online , and for 6th gen components (cpu mobo ram ) I would suggest theitdepot and primeabgb. Good prices for them and very old and reliable sites. they were operational before even snapdeal flipkart were there .
YEs if you want to play DVDs , you do need a separate optical drive. But the only time you would need it is to install motherboard drivers . gfx card drivers are updated online , its just a stupid lame cd with useless stuff in bundled cd with graphics card.
