Hello,
I have a custom built PC and yesterday I upgraded my Motherboard and CPU. I bought the "Gigabyte GA-Z97X-GAMING 3 LGA 1150 Z97 Gaming Audio and Networking ATX Motherboard" with a "Intel Core i5-4690K Processor 3.5 GHz LGA 1150" CPU. The installation went smooth with no problems what so ever. However, when I try to connect to the internet there's nothing there.. It's not even showing I have any networks available! I tried connecting via Ethernet and I get nothing.. I checked the "device manager" to see what's going on with my network adapter. It has a yellow triangle with the "!" in the center. The error code is "301". I have tried everything... Uninstalling the driver, loading the driver from the CD given with the adapter.. Nothing works. It's so aggravating. I am using the "ASUS(PCE-N15) maximum performance Wireless-N Network Adapter"
If someone could please help me resolve this issue I would be eternally grateful!
NOTE* The Network adapter was working fine before, it only stopped working after new upgrades. I am using windows 8.1. Thanks.

Other devices your network are connecting and operating properly - just confirm that there are no other problems.

Four things to start with:

1) Check that the Asus PCE-N15 is securely seated and that the antenna's are snug and correctly up.

2) What do you see with respect to the yellow and green lights?

3) Did you use or attempt to use WPS?

4) Run ipconfig /all from the command prompt and post the output.

Thanks.
