I have a 780ti superclocked in my backup gaming tower(also own a 980 classified in my main tower) and seen these 780ti's used are going pretty cheap now that the 900's have been out a while.
I wanted to get the performance of this backup tower closer to my main one with the 980 classified in it without buying another 980?
Read that SLI has good and bad points so i wanted to ask what are the most frequent/common
issues i may come across if i decide to buy another 780ti and run them SLI?
do all games work with SLI?
is a 750 watt psu enough to run two 780ti's in SLI?

Solution

If your only gaming at 1080P, then SLIing is pointless. A single 780 ti can easily pump 1080P at ultra settings with energy to spare.

You could lower the settings, but what's the point in buying another expensive card if all your going to do is lower the detail quality?
90% of new games work with SLI, so that shouldn't be a problem.

The BIG problem though is vram, because vram doesn't double (3GB + 3GB DOES NOT = 6GB), you will get heavy bottlenecking because of the vram. Getting a single more powerful card is better in this scenario.

If you had a GTX 780 6GB, then adding another one in SLI would be smart.
