Need AGP video card suggestions for old desktop

Just moved in with my fiancee, and am attempting to revive/re-purpose her old desktop to use as a basic/extra utility machine. Basically can be used by the kids for doing homework research, guests, maybe occasionally file-serving/media-streaming to Apple TV or Xbox. Certainly nothing heavy-duty

Here are the specs:
-HP Pavillion a1022n tower. AMD 3400+ 64 and 2 gigs of RAM
-Windows 7 Home Premium (originally came with XP)
-Currently using integrated graphics going to a (matching?) HP vc17 LCD monitor (VGA connection)

I've actually got it working pretty well for email & web browsing (typing on it now,) but I notice it has issues with video being choppy. Doesn't matter if it's streaming or from a DVD, it simply struggles to play decent quality video with any type of real usability.

It has an open AGP slot, no PCIe (everything is PCI) so I figured I'd see if I could find some suggestions for the type of card that would A)work well for general use and B) doesn't cost much.
The computer is worth very little, I'm sure... so I don't have any interest in finding some type of top-shelf graphics card for gaming.
Something that can reasonably play streaming content without stuttering is all I need. Thanks for any help!

EDIT-Just re-read the GPU sticky... I should note I'm in the US (Nashville, Tn) and will probably just order a video card from Amazon unless someone has a better suggestion. Really would like to spend no more than $20-25 if possible

@rababnoor- Thanks! That at least tells me what I'm looking for. The second link is a PCIe card, though. This computer is all PCI with one open AGP slot

@madmatt30- Good info, thanks!
