Just hang out on these forums for a few days you will see TONS of folks having problems with CX series PSU's, under-powering, failing, etc. The EVGA I...

Everything will work fine. The RAM does not affect your screen in any way. Just in multitasking and application running. If you must save money, you could downgrade to 8GB of RAM and be alright for gaming for some time. 16 is a good place to be for future growth though.

At 1080P this will be a rather good system

Defintiely don't get the i5-4670K. That's a two-year-old CPU. If you want to stay with DDR3 RAM, get the i5-4690K for about $240, which is a newer refresh of the 4670K. Another, perhaps better, option would be to get an i5-6600K with a Z170 motherboard and DDR4 RAM. The i5-6600K is Intel's newest unlocked i5, but the 4690K is still perfectly capable and a slightly cheaper option with the older motherboards and DDR3. I'm totally satisfied with the 4690K that's in my personal build, and I'm sure the 6600K is even better.

Also, there is absolutely no point in buying aftermarket thermal paste if you're not getting a third-party CPU cooler. I would recommend getting a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo to cool your CPU, and aftermarket thermal paste really isn't necessary, the 212 Evo comes with thermal paste that is perfectly adequate.

Will probably check out the i5 6600, I think its the same price. What's wrong with the power supply?? Not a deal breaker, but why does it suck? Also upgrading the processor, I guess 750 is still good.....?

Ive never bought any type of cooler before for the processor, is there a version that will fit fine in the mid tower case?

In regards to the ssd, I think Im going to just use it for the os, and move games around that are played.

thanks all. basically I want a low power, low noise, and on 1920 x1080 res, so wasnt sure if I was overshooting anything or undershooting

Just hang out on these forums for a few days you will see TONS of folks having problems with CX series PSU's, under-powering, failing, etc. The EVGA I recommended can be had for nearly the same price and is one of the highest rated and highest quality you can get in that size/price range. 750 is more than fine for this.

As for the SSD I agree what you have is all you need the one he recommended is overkill.

If you can get a good deal on a 144hz monitor you will notice the difference (make sure you use a display port cable), that said I wouldn't break the bank on it.

299.99 looks pretty good with motion blur game flicker and fps mode

Thats a good deal I would do that, really does make a difference. Like I said remember to make sure to use a displayport cable, not HDMI.
