I decided to build my first gaming rig. I have quite some knowledge about this, still I would love to have help from more experienced and knowledgeable people. Here are my specs: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/wJhNbv
I would love you to tell me if its wise for 4K gaming, or 1440 for heavy games. If there's anyway for me to get stuff that help gaming, and maybe for a little less (it's ok if it's more) I would love to know about it, this is mainly for gaming purposes, but also for sometimes video and photo editing and homework. thanks for the help.
also is it ok to install my games in the hdd or should i get more ssd?
Please take in mind i will be puting 1 or 2 980 ti more in the future. Last question, is it possible to make a sli with the 980 ti hybrid of evga, if yes how many cards would i be able to put, or what is a nice gpu cooler?
this question is for feeling safe, how likely is that a piece comes functioning incorrectly?

Solution
That should be good for 4K gaming. The 980Ti is the best on the market for 4K gaming, other than maybe the Titan X. That should be fine for 4K on one monitor, and 1440p for more graphics intensive games. It is fine to install games on the HDD, load times may be slower, but games load quick enough it shouldn't matter. You have chosen pretty much the best processor for gaming, since games don't use many CPU cores, although lack of cores will affect photo editing. The 980Ti Hybrid, I don't know, and I don't have much experience with GPU cooling.

Thanks for answering!
This makes me feel safe, I will still look for gpu cooling options, just for better performance.
one last thing, if you ever read this, how likely is that a piece comes not working?
