How to get the best airflow out of my case?

Hello,

I have this case.

It comes installed with 3 fans (one at the top, front and back.) Two of those fans have died and I have bought 2 140mm and 2 120mm fans to replace them and will use the working fan for a total of 5 fans (3x140mm, 2x120mm).

My question is how can I achieve the best airflow out of my case, as in where should I place my 5 fans? I will be installing an r9 380 as well if that matters.

Here's how I would do it:
- 140mm fan in the front pulling air in
- 2 120mm fans exhausting air out the top
- 140mm fan exhausting air out the back
- The last 140mm fan can either be mounted as an intake fan on the bottom or be mounted as exhaust on the side panel. Having it on the bottom might maintain better air flow, but I have a fan on my side panel and notice my GPU temps 4-5C lower.

More exhaust provides better cooling but the negative pressure it creates supposedly collects more dust... I never had dust issues in my case even with 3 exhaust and 1 intake.

Interesting, thank you for the suggestion.

Just curious, would it not be more beneficial to have an intake fan on the side panel blowing in air towards the GPU rather than an exhaust fan in that location?

You have an interesting point. The side panel hole appears to be below where the GPU would sit, and since the GPU's fans will be blowing air down, having that exhaust fan below would mean it would be sucking out the hot air coming from the GPU. That is the same situation as my case.
