DVI No Signal

I was playing games on my computer until the screen froze I restarted it and it said " DVI No Signal" this happened 4 days ago I tried EVERYTHING taking out and putting back in the rams, etc
I have a asus moniter my uncle made my cpu 4 years ato

PLEASE HELP

Ok so your calling it a CPU but that is your processor. Pls say computer because everybody will be confused. Next you need the new windows install disk. Do you still have it?

That won't make a difference. Is the DVI port on a GPU or built into the motherboard?

My Cpu IS NO BROKEN when i start it up it does a long beep then stops 4 seconds later it is still on after the beep but the moniter says no signal, each day the cpu does a shorter beep it works and it says starting windows and does the logo and all that, After that alot of numbers pop up ands stage 1 out of stage 3 and 0% done

The DVI No signal is over it works now... But when i start it up i require a "window installation disc" and now when over i press ESC or Enter the moniter turns off with the cpu still on

Not anymore i'll buy a new one and the case will be closed thanks for helping!
