I was able to easily overclock to 4.6 core at 1.205v 4.4 uncore at 1.2v. I kept playing around leaving the uncore alone. For a 4.7 overclock I had to go to 1.24v. I was trying to get to 4.8 to see if i could. I got up to 1.29v getting the BSOD in OCCT and/or Handbrake. I cant imagine it being that much of a jump considering I get 4.6 at 1.2v. I went back to my saved 4.7 settings and I get BSOD in OCCT. Handbrake works fine. Any Ideas?

BTW, I've tried dropping uncore multiplier and voltage and it doesn't matter.

Solution
With most CPU's you'll hit a wall, then it will take a good size jump in the vCore voltage to go higher (if it will go higher) so want to monitor temps

I am happy where my temps are at 4.7. I'm in the low 70s occasionally and may hit 78 for a split second when stress testing. Games are in the 50s. I think I will just leave it alone. I can't imagine 100mhz making much difference anyway. I want this chip to last so I'm going back to 4.6 at 1.2v. Thanks for your response.
