Best mother board of the Intel I7 4790K?

I'm building a new computer and was recommended the Asus z97 pro gamer ($169) or the Asus Z170 Pro Gameing ($169). Would one of these work or could i do alot better?

I would get the Asus Z97-A

The I7-4790K (1150) wont fit into the Asus Z170 Pro (1151). Tom's (Best Of) MB list has a good selection of quality motherboards, I would get one from there based on the features you need/want.
