Ill be attempting to clone a HDD which has multiple bad sectors and isn't returning any files when trying to run basic data recovery program on the drive.
The drive is listed as RAW and returns I/O Errors when accessed in windows.
Ill be using parted magic to run DDRescue on the drive and attempt to clone the drive onto a fresh HDD and attempt further recovery from there.
My question is, what are the simple commands for getting the drive to be read in reverse instead as I believe most of the 660 bad sectors are from the front of the drive? Also I need to know the command to allow NO read error retries - I don't want to poke the device and waste further time trying to read bad sectors multiple times over, I just simply want them skip.
Thanks!
