I have a question about this APU. I have it stocked and I wanted to put it back to my computer. I've got an R7 240 2GB Boost and I don't want to remove it, of course. The R7 7600 (integrated graphics of A8-7600) have higher shader processing units (384) than the radeon R7 240 (320 shader processing units).

My question now is, will the integrated graphics of the APU add some more power gaming, increasing a total of 704 shader processing units, overcoming the GTX 750 Ti Palit StormX OC (Which have 640 shader processing units). I don't know what to do right now because I didn't placed the APU yet and I'm awaiting for your answers. Thanks in advance!!!

AMD GPU cores aren't the same thing as Nvidia GPU cores, so there's no point comparing them.

Crossfiring your 240 with the A8 7600 will basically double your performance in all games that use DirectX10, 11 and Mantle.

But no AMD APU Crossfire is faster than even a 750/260. Sorry.

For best performance, you need to get 2x4 GBs of DDR3 ram at 2400 to really get the improvements from the APU crossfiring with your GPU. That and generally overclocking your GPU and APU (both CPU and integrated GPU) is a solid idea for improving framerates.

You ABSOLUTELY need 2133/2400 RAM if you want to use AMD APUs.

Also buy a 3rd party CPU cooler to allow the APU to Turbo to its maximum CPU/iGPU clocks all the time and/or especially if you overclock...

I don't think so, it's just like, crossfire-ing two graphics card have much of difference. I don't have enough knowledge about those computers soo... yeah.
By the way, thanks for your answer!!

Hi,
a8-7600 can be in crossfire mode only with r7 240, so your should to that. (maybe you can do with r7 250 ).

you can't do the crossfire with GTX 750 or any other NIVIDIA OR AMD gpu.
Here you can see what AMD recommended to crossfire with their APU:

http://

If you have GTX 750 or better , you should use it without the crossfire mode.

Alright, now, I know that it can be crossfired. My next question is, will it increase much performance?? As said by Miky5983, there wouldn't be much performance added, but I can't confirm that. I need some more people to confirm how much performance will be increased.

About 5-20 fps in some games. Maybe more, maybe less, depending how the game is optimized.

So do you mean it can't be crossfired? People said it can. The question is right there: if it is crossfired, will it increase performance huge-ly? Or slightly?
I know it's a waste of money to buy R7 240, but that is what is in my PC.
Sorry if I sound mean :) Peace!

Anyways, thanks for the suggestion on buying a better card to crossfire.
Just say if it will increase performance Huge-ly, or slightly increase.
