I've decided to buy a Corsair Carbide 500R for a new build because of airflow and general sexiness and I was wondering if anyone knows whether the fpanel cables will be compatible with my motherboard. I currently have an ACER Predator G3610 and will later buy an AsRock Z97 Extreme4.
Also, I assume I'll need some extra cables because of all the case fans in the 500R (3-pin or 4-pin?).

Those links are for 5V and 7V 3-pin to molex adaptors. Will these be compatible with the 500R and which is better, 5 or 7V?

A big thanks to anybody who responds.

Hey Armada,
yes, the Case' front I/O cables (from the panel) is going to be compatible with that board you posted. Those front panel cables are actually standard now for most of the cases available on the market.

With regards to the case' fans, their connector is proprietary, like this, http://oi44.tinypic.com/5vd6r.jpg. You will need to plug them in to the fan controller that is powered using Molex connector. After market fans are always an option if you prefer to use standard 3pin/4pin connector.

Thank you both for such a rapid response.

My 500R will be delivered tomorrow, along with an XFX XXX 750W PSU. That particular PSU was on tier 1 of the PSU list on this very website, so I thought it was a very strong recommendation. http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

I won't have the AsRock board for a few months, so the Acer Predator board will be going in at first. I don't know much aboot the Predator mobo, but maybe this will help... http://www.pc-specs.com/mobo/comparison-versus/2779/563/asrock-z97-extreme4-vs-acer-predator-g3610
It isn't listed on that site, but the Predator has 2 USB 3.0 at the back and 4x SATA 2 & 2x SATA 3 on the main board.

Thank you very much for both your help..!
