Can't find any information about my motherboard

Hi everyone, this community has served me well in the past and is my go to place for information I can trust. Been lurking here for ages but never posted before. I want to upgrade the cpu in my HP dv6-2113sa. I ran CPU-Z and these are my specs

Processor name: AMD Turion II Ultra M620

Motherboard

Manufacturer: HP
Model:3636
Chipset: AMD 785G
Southbridge: AMD SB700

Since I can't find any details about my motherboard online (I'm guessing this is because it's an OEM) how can I work out which cpu is compatible with my motherboard? Thanks.

Ok so your motherboard chipset is usually the AM3 AM2+ or the AM2 however your CPU leads me to believe it is the AM2 however it is hard to find.

Well i m new, but i guess if u search what is the socket for ur processor u will hopefully get ur answer
Then you can search for cpu with the same socket type.( for example i use i5-4440 processor my socket is lga1150)

Please get confirmation from someone else as well
But others please let me know if i was correct

It has to be a AM3 AM2+ OR AM2 I don't know yet. Still doing research.

Your socket is S1G3 it is very old. At this point I would recommend upgrading your CPU Motherboard and RAM

WAIT WAIT WAIT. I think this is wrong because a Turion is a Mobile Processor. Are you talking about a laptop?

It is a laptop, if i am right and supports ddr2, well bro this machine is pretty much u can say OLD

thats all i see for that odd socket which seems you have the best cpu

this is the ancient k10 architecture based cpu, it is time for an upgrade .

this is the only thing I see for this socket type according to cpu boss

whats odd though is this is ddr3 I believe for the gen 3 and not ddr2.
