Hello, i play alot of CS:GO and i got i5-3350p 3.1 (Turbo 3.3) And i wunder if it will be worth to me to buy a i7-3770 over the i5 since im not so good to pc i will try to avoid changing the motherboard LGA1155, im in this situation that i think of buying the GTX 970 or i7-3770? My current GPU is evga 750ti ftw, and i notice CPU useage is 90-100% while GPU only is at 40 so will i even gain more FPS by changing the GPU? :)

You will definitely get better fps with the GTX 970. I am running a i5 3570K and a gtx 970 and can run all my games on ultra and get great fps. I don't think CS:GO is a game that really benefit with getting more threads vs a much better GPU. Though your cpu usage does seem high to me.

From my personal experience , CS :GO is relying more on the CPU than the GPU. I have an I5 -2500 and a Gigabyte 750ti and I'm reaching the utter max FPS (300 and sometimes over). Upgrading his GTX 750ti is irrelevant in a game like CS:GO.

All maxed out 1920x1080?

No I play on 1600x900 medium : 8X MSAA 8X Antisotropic filtering. This game maxed out runs at an average of 200 fps on my PC. But i don't see why you would play this game at max settings, for me it's simply unplayable.

Forgive my ignorance since I don't play CSGO but if your monitor refreshes at only 60hz wouldn't getting higher FPS be pointless since you can't see them? In any case I would still upgrade the GPU over CPU since the performance increase will still be better then getting a newish CPU.

Got 144hz since for csgo, and i do reach 180-300 fps depends where i am on low res & Settings, but i do like to be able to run 1920x1080 all maxed out & still be able to use my 144hz :)
