hello all,

i recently bought the ocz revodrive 350 and i use it partially as boot drive and the other part for games. but i recently discovered that i used about 30gb too much for my boot drive. so i wanted to add that to the other partition, but it wont let me...

as seen in the picture there are two empty partitions but they're divided and i cant get them together. not with the windows tool not with partition magic and not with paragon partition manager

can anyone help me?

Solution
The layout that the graphic shows is how the space is physically laid out on the drive. You can't combine the two empty partitions because they are in physically separate locations.

If you wish to convert them into one so you can create a single data partition on it, you will need to move the two partitions in the middle to one side. That is going to be difficult with a potential for data loss if something goes wrong since they look like your boot partition (398 MB) and your OS partition (C: drive).

Any decent partition manager should let you do this. Don't try to move the empty space. Move the 398 MB boot partition to the left, then the C: partition to the left. But make sure you backup the drive before you try this.
