Hi,
I've got two HP ProLiant DL360 G5 Server both set up for NIC Teaming on Win Server 2012.

My router assigns an IP based on the NIC's MAC address, it seems each time the server is rebooted the MAC changes from NIC1 to NIC2 and then back again on the next reboot.

Issue here is I can only reserve an IP based on the NIC, as well as forwarded ports only working on every other reboot.

Any suggestions as to how I might be able to make the assigned IP the same on every startup?

Thanks,
Doogle

Ideally you should put an exclusion in the DHCP range, assuming the router allows you to. Alternatively, leaving the fixed assignation based on MAC would have the same effect (as no client with that MAC is ever going to ask for an address). But an exclusion is the best way.
