Wifi drops every 30 minutes

My router decides it wants to drop the connection every 30 minutes or so and disconnect me from the internet for a brief 5 seconds.

I'm on a wireless connection, wired also shares the same problem, but every half hour, my router basically resets it's connection. It's perfectly fine 30 minutes from that point, then it does it again.

Whenever I'm playing Call of Duty or something then I'm all amazing with my nukes and swarms, then I get a beautiful shiny disconnect message "You must have an active connection to play on PSN". Then I very swiftly, like a ninja of course, turn 90 degrees counter-clockwise to my computer and see that the network is down for 5 seconds, then it works again.

Also, I didn't make the mistake of having a Belkin router :p So I have no idea what's wrong with this thing

Finally, it's not exclusively my computer. It's my Playstation, phone, main computer, and everything connected via wired/wireless

It probably just need s a reboot. Unplug the power cord from the modem for about 2 minutes, and plug it back in.

This may solve the problem. Also, do you have a microwave or wireless phone around that router? These are known to cause interference with the signal. Move them far away from it

New router/modem and it is a tall unit, so it dissipates heat more effectively. It also happens on the wired connections. Once again, do you think it could be of DHCP lease time happening too frequently?
