I really don't know what I can do ? Don't think it's right that it never came with a recovery disk as from researching so far all I seem to see is that I need the recovery disk to simply restore bk to factory settings gs surely there is another way

Your post cut off since you tried to put the main body in the title. If you need to restore the system there may be a restore partition on the hard drive you can boot to. Most systems now do not come with a restore disk set. You either use the partition provided, or make a restore disk set from a utility from Windows once it's setup. Some systems even prompt you to make a set during initial setup when the system is first turned on.
