Hello Guys and Gals! I am currently looking to build a desktop for my wife for gaming and streaming purposes, we are getting into streaming together and she wants to start streaming WiiU content, not to mention your current computer is a piece of junk for the games we play together. I'd appreciate all the help I can get!

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: My wife's current computer has in no way the capability to stream so ya.....

For that budget I would suggest the first build below for a gaming pc. However since it seems like streaming is kind of a priority for you it might be a better idea to instead get an AMD processor like the FX 8320 and a cheaper motherboard and then invest the remaining money in your budget in getting another 8gb of ram. The AMD procesor has more cores than the intel one, but they don't run as quickly, so the intel one will be better for gaming but the AMD one, along with having more RAM, would make multi-tasking and streaming while gaming much easier. Either way you'll have a great machine but if your wife is more concerned about being able to play the newest games at the highest settings get the first build. If she feels that streaming games without any problems is far more important then get the second one.
