Blank BIOS screen and BOOT device errors

Hi,

I'm getting the error 'Reboot and select proper Boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key'

I also cannot go to the BIOS to change the boot device to the HDD where the windows is; whenever I press F2 or DELETE for the BIOS to appear, the screen turns blank.

This started happened after I installed the GTX 750. Even if I connect the HDMI cable to the motherboard instead of the gpu, the same errors (Blank BIOS screen and boot device error) still appear

I managed to take out the CMOS and reset the bios but the same problem still occurs. I realised the pc crashes whenever I try to open bios, because the light on the cap lock doesn't change when It goes blank. Could it be due to motherboard damage? By the way, I'm a friend of that guy (phantomir) ^^

Looks like the motherboard is fried :( oh well

I'm going to attempt one more thing. Try and boot it with a windows 8 cd. I've also realised that the pc only detects my optical drive not my hard drive. It says so when I reset bios (friend of phantomir)

Oh so now you've got the bios settings to come up? Good sign

Let me know how it goes

Edit: You've mentioned it happened after inserting your gpu. Try to boot without that gpu and if there is anything on the screen, your on the right track
