Hi, I've built my own computer, I'm not necessarily as savvy as all of you, especially with graphic cards. But, I've got a big setup. I'm looking to have 3 monitors. What is it about having one EVGA GTX 760 'Superclocked' 2GB that won't let me have the 3rd monitor to work? Am I doing something wrong? Basically do I have to SLI? If so, what card do you suggest? I have an ASUS ROG Motherboard, it was top of the line a year and a half ago, 32 GB of Memory, and an i7-4770k.

Here's a link to the specific GTX 760 on Amazon.

EVGA GeForce GTX760 SuperClocked w/EVGA ACX Cooler 2GB GDDR5 256bit, Dual-Link DVI-I, DVI-D, HDMI,DP, SLI Ready Graphics Card (02G-P4-2765-KR) Graphic

I appreciate any responses. I really don't know much about graphics cards compatibility.

Solution
In the Windows Display Control Panel try clicking and holding on the #3 monitor (it's in the center, right?) and then drag it to the right. You should then see them arranged 1, 2, 3 like they should be. Make sure you click Apply.

Also, make sure that when you click on monitor #3, that Multiple Displays says "Extend..."

I have three 1920x1080 monitors with 1ms of response time. I'm planning on using the system for primarily trading (having an expansive view of many charts). The information will be running real time too, so I like the idea of a more crisp feeling as the information is coming in and lighting up on the screen. Also, I'll be using this system occasionally for photo and video editing.

Right now I've got them all set up, but only two of the monitors will let the mouse run over the desktop, and operate in it. While the third is just the image of the desktop image (no icons or toolbars).

What do you suggest? I very much appreciate your help. Considering my hardware, and assuming money isn't an issue (okay not buying a 1,000 dollar card), what would you suggest would best compliment my current hardware setup?

It just sounds like you need to adjust the positioning of your monitors within the Control Panel. Assuming you're using Windows 7, right click on any blank spot on your desktop, then click on Screen Resolution. You'll then need to click on the Identify button to learn which monitor is which. Once you've identified the numbering scheme for you monitors, you can then drag and drop them to match their actual, physical arrangement. Don't forget to click Apply when you're done.

Mousemonkey - I have the furthest from the computer plugged into the Graphic Card's HDMI and the other two monitors I had to use the HDMI to 'DVI male' setup. All three are plugged into the Graphics Card.

imrazor - I kept trying this last night, and I just revisited it again as per your recommendation. I did it with both the Nvidia control panel and Windows control panel like you're saying. What ends up happening, is the main screen (the only one that has a bottom toolbar and start menu) is always 1, and it actually doesn't move monitors after it refreshes, it stays on the same monitor (far left). If I try switching them all around, I'm lucky if I can figure out how to change 2 or 3 from eachother... If I do figure out how to swap them, then whatever screen I was working on ends up freezing up basically (mouse can't scroll over it), but mouse will start scrolling to the other 'blank' screen.

They are all the same exact type of monitor Asus VN247. The screens go from left to right 1, 2, 3... This is in the control panel for both windows and Nvidia. But, when I click identify the screens, it shows 2 and 3 being swapped. So, it goes from left to right 1, 3, 2... I can not move my cursor over screen 3 (the middle screen).

Basically, the control panels are showing it different than where it's being identified.

Bingo! That worked. The main screen is in the middle, with the wallpaper and the start menu. Before all of them had the same wallpaper, now 1 and 3 are black, but they have desktop icons (on 1) and a widget (on 3). Any suggestions on making this whole thing look better?

First thing to do is figure out where you want the Start Menu. The usual place is on the left-most monitor. Go back to the Display Control Panel, click on the monitor you want the Start Menu on, and check off the box that says "Make this my main display."

Can you describe this widget you're seeing on monitor #3?
