When you access the second router change the settings to access point and then run your ethernet cable from a lan port on the main router to a lan port on the access point. You might also want to change the IP address of the second router to 192.168.1.2 or just go up one digit with the last number depending on what IP address you have on the main router. The one I listed above is standard in many routers.
