My HDD is making loud and ticking noises?

Hello, I have bought my Seagate 1 TB HDD 3 weeks ago and just 2 weeks ago it started to make clicking noises but it still works properly. I don't know what to do, my PC is quiet but the HDD is making loud noises but if I push my hand against the case's side panel it stops the loud noise. I opened it and it still makes loud noises, help?

Hi there Agash,

You really need to back up the data stored on the drive as soon as possible.
After that, you can try attaching the HDD with a different USB cable. In case the issue persists, and given the fact that you've bought the HDD 3 weeks ago, I would be a good idea to just contact the place you've bought the drive from and RMA it.
