SAPPHIRE R 270X does a better job then MSI R9 390 in fps and i dont know why :(

Hey guys i just whent from a SAPPHIRE R9 270X to a MSI R9 390.
If i play 7 days to die on ultra settings i get low FPS on the MSI R9 390 around 29 fps.
When i drop the setting lower to like medium i get 30 to 39 fps.
When i played 7 days to die on my SAPPHIRE R9 270X i got 87 fps on medium settings.

Whats going on!!!?????

My sepcs are:
MOBO: msi gaming 970
PSU: 650 watt cooler master
RAM: 16GB DDR3 12800 (1600MHZ)
CPU: AMD FX-6300 3,5 GHZ

Did you get rid of your old drivers of the R9 270x before testing/installing your new R9 390? Sounds like a driver conflict.

Oke thx guys so i should get rid of the old driver? I think i did that but its never to late to check again. thx

Traces of your old driver could still live in your system. You need to use DDU: http://www.guru3d.com/files-get/display-driver-uninstaller-download,20.html -- Boot into Safe Mode and run it.

Alt: Programs -> Uninstall your driver

Restart normally

Install new driver, use: http://www2.ati.com/drivers/auto/autodetectutility.exe

Make sure your primary card (currently in your system) is your R9 390, and not the R9 270x.

Thx for the tip but it didnt work for me somthing els mayby it runs now on ultra everything 12 fps and medium on 38 fps. think my sapphire r9 270x was better

I have tried what you have wrote and i saw that my GPU hits sometimes 100% it goes from like 0 to 75 to 100 and back it hits many time 100% what could that be i hav deleted all old drivers and installed the newest ones. PLz help
