I'm writing in reference to this thread on the MSI forums

I'm stumped as to what sort of issue this is as I've never encountered this before. At the moment I have the computer stripped down and I'm attempting to diagnose the motherboard outside of the case using another Power Supply.

Why do I not hear the "beep"?
Why do I not see anything on the screen?
What sort of error am I to expect if all the motherboard indicating lights come on?

Yeah that quad core was an error typo on my part.

That's it whether I have ram in or not it doesn't do anything but power on

Yes I have a speaker! If I have no ram should I not get an error beep?
