i was just picking the best pc parts at pcpartpicker and i got a warning like this

"Some AMD 970 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vishera CPUs."

i was using the amd fx-6300 cpu and the asus m5a97 evo r2.0 mobo

question is that , can the mobo support the cpu right out of the box or i need to update it first ?

my build :http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/RDVKt6

please help since im just a novice and this is my first budget build tho

thx ^^

It depends - you'll probably find that new stock will have a more up-to-date BIOS that'll support it out of the box, but older stock won't.

I don't know about the AMD side, but ASUS's Intel boards have "USB Flashback", where you can flash the BIOS via a USB stick without the CPU on the board (to cater for exactly this situation).
