Cannot choose language on Windows 8.1 Automatic Repair

When I changed the SATA Mode (or something) to Compatible (or IDE, from AHCI which was the working one) the laptop would not start. After the Lenovo loading screen, it would display a message saying it should restart. After restarting it it goes to Automatic Repair mode, which goes to the Language selection screen. The
problem starts here. I can't choose a language because there is no cursor, I cant even select them using Tab. and blindly selecting one does not work either. Please help asap!

I would very much liek to do that but I cant access the BIOS. I tried perssing F2 and all other combinations on startup but nothing happens. It's as if the keyboard isn;t working, because pressing Cpas Lock doesn't make the button light up, when it normally should. Is there something else I can do?
