Should a Intel Core i7-3770 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor be fine for my Radeon R9 390

Ok, im upgrading my gpu and im wondering if my CPU is fine and if there will be any problems, i used PC part picker and it said it was compatible, but I want some feedback from actually people, so is it ok or do i need to upgrade

Your CPU is more than good enough to work with an R9 390. Even an i7 920 would be good enough. CPUs have not advanced that much since 2009. My 4770K ran two 290Xs just fine and that cpu is only a hair better than yours; I also ran a GTX 780 with an i7 960 and an i7 4770K and the difference was negligible to the point where I couldn't tell the difference.
