Dell laptop with Intel Core i7 4500U, 8GB memory, 1TB disc, AND UNITY IS STUTTERING/SKIPPING/RANDOMLY CRASHING. PLEASE HELP.

Hi, my friend has a dell laptop with Intel Core i7 4500U, 8GB memory, 1TB disc, and he recently purchased Assassins Creed Unity, and it runs for squat. Now he asked me to try and figure it out, but i am coming up blank, it says version 1.5. (After the 1st HUGE patch) but it stutters, skips, the camera is crazy, there is no possible way to see what is going on, and it randomly says it is not working and exits, often. I have played with setting the graphics from high to low, turning vsync on/off, TO NO AVAIL. IT SEEMS TO ME LIKE HIS COMPUTER SHOULD BE ABLE TO HANDLE THIS, what can I/should I do for him?

Well the game was purchased on Amazon.com. As for the computer, he only has 6 of the assassins creeds on there, nothing else, and the other 5 run flawlessly. (But black flag I had to optimize to make it do that, but it runs smooth as silk now...
