So I've got a Gravis Firebird 2 joystick (Really old) that I found and was wondering what I would need to get it to work. Would a gameport to USB allow me to use the controller once I found a driver for it? Or Would I need a sound-card in order to use it? If so, What sound card would be compatible w/ my computer?

Specs:
GPU: R7 265
CPU: X4 860K
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-F2A88X-D3H
RAM: 4GB
HDD: 1 TB
PSU: 520W
OS: WIndows 10

Solution
Those old joysticks, and any controller that uses a game port or serial port are very tough to get working on a modern PC. Even if it's detected, a lot of times they don't work properly, and the older devices that have game ports would not have Windows 10, or even 7, drivers.

I'd get another newer joystick, and if you want to play around with the old one, buy an older computer with XP on it and a game port slot.
