i have recently bought an EVGA 550W gs series PSU and i was just wondering if:
a) Is it a good unit?
b) will it supply enough power for a 2 way SLI with two MSI GTX 970's and an overclocked i5 4690k or i7 4790k (I think the power draw for both the i5 and i7 is the same but i'm not 100% sure)

I would be grateful for any and all responses.

Thanks

I don't know much about PSU's. But on pcpartpicker's power requirement bit it says that 2 way sli of gtx 970's only requires around 450W (i think. i cant really remember). It also says that there are no compatibility issues with these parts.

Thanks for the reply and sorry if I am wrong

This PSU is a high enough tier, shown here. I was just wondering if the output wattage was high enough.
