Hi, i am a complete noob so excuse my french, ok i have a a Dell optiplex 3020 and this the specs Ram 4Gb, core i5 4590 3 Ghz , GTX 750ti ( this is the upgrade i'm trying to ask you about) 290 watts Dell psu, 1 dvd drive 2 small fans, that's it so i wanna buy the evga gtx 750ti and the main watts on that card on the box is 300 watts and my psu is just 290 but i heard that the gtx 750 ti doesn't need a 6 pin or any wire for that matter to work ? they told me that it will work just fine on my pc pci slot with the 75 watts that is provided from my motherboard so will it work fine on my psu or i need to upgrade to 400 watts or greater pls help thx ;(

Check the nameplate on your PSU. If it looks like this: http://en.community.dell.com/cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/3515/q.jpg
...and has the same ratings for the +12V rails (upper right), it is marginal but sufficient for the GTX 750 Ti as long as you won't be overclocking the card or the CPU.
