Hello, I am trying to build a gaming/programming desktop. I have never built a computer before so my knowledge on hardware is lacking.

I need more opinions on it before I end up ordering the parts. I am hoping to be able to play games like The Wicher 2/3, Fallout 4, and any other graphically intensive games on max settings either at 1080p or 1440p (probably not possible at 1440p).
I am hoping to replace the monitor with one that has 144hz, but can't find any that's around the same size (21" to 24"). For the case, I was looking at the Black/Red NZXT S340 Mid Tower Case. Though, the one that I have in the part list looks pretty good too.
If you guys can look it over and let me know how the build looks, I would greatly appreciate it. Please provide any information on what I can do to improve it, lower costs, etc.. My budget is $1400. I will probably go over as I am going to need to buy a keyboard and a desk as well.
