How do i set up a dd-wrt router as a wireless repeater?

I want to extend the range of my current WiFi. I currently have a NVG589 that was included by my ISP its a router/modem.
I also have a spare Linksys E1200 with dd-wrt firmware. How do i set it up, i just want to to extend the range of my wifi.

Cascading. You do this by, connecting one of the LAN ports of the NVG589 router to one of the LAN ports of Linksys E1200. Disable DHCP on E1200 and set it on AP mode. That's it, try it.
