Will asynchronous compute be hands down amd territory?
will direct x 12 be revolutionary compared to dx11?
If sony won the console wars will amd win the graphics card wars?

what kind of performance increases are you expecting?

when those games come out in november are you excited to race to the blogs and youtube to find out the answers to all?

AMD can not win the graphics war any more. They slowed funding on their GPUs significantly, and thus, will fall further and further behind over time.
I hope DirectX 12 does what it promises, allows multiple GPUs to work efficiently together, regardless of manufacturer or generation
I am expecting no performance increases to my not going to be upgraded PC for a couple years.
What games are coming out in november? The games I play I like to wait a few months to a year before delving into, as that is about how long it takes to go from unreleased alpha quality to near released quality after launch. I also prefer to wait for the community to have a chance to hack and mod the heck out of the game.

1) well it might be the case right now. But next gen gpu also coming up. Pascal was rumored to arrive as early as Q2 2016. Still there is plenty of time for nvidia to fix their Async compute implementation. Back in 2009 they also said nvidia fermi design did not take tessellation engine into account. They add them on later stage and when they come up with their polymorph engine then the rest is history as we know it right now. So i don't count Async compute as definite win for AMD yet. By the time most game use Async compute nvidia might as well have on par if not better solution than AMD.

2) everyctime new DX comes out there were lots of hype. When DX13 arrive then we will hear the bad side of things of DX12 compared to DX13. Anyway we are dealing with low level API with DX12. It will solve some of the problem while dev are having right now while at the same time will introduce few new ones.

3) it doesn't make sense. Since xbox also using AMD hardware.

4) this is quite tricky. It depends on dev optimization. If they found something unexpected then instead of increasing the performanve we might see going DX12 will degrade the performance instead. Look no further at what happen with nvidia DX12 degration vs DX11 and 285 poor Mantle performance compared to DX11 in BF4/ BF Hardline.

5) among the game that you list down probably only Battlefront going to use DX12. Personally i'm not surprise if Fallout 4 still using DX9 instead of DX11.
