New R9 380 NITRO High temps (70c idle)

Hi, I've just purchased a Sapphire R9 380 Nitro and it's temperature seems awfully high at a 70c idle. If i manually set the GPU fans to 100% i can bring the card down to 35c. Under 100% GPU load card reaches 99c before the fan switches from 24% to 45% speed and the card becomes stable at 78c.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

That's what I've gone for thanks, seems that the GPU doesn't activate the fans till they are on 35% so ive set that as the minimum speed. Sits at 45c idle now.

I have the same card and the idle temperature is 76 (fans off). Dont know if i should get worried or not. I tried to make my own fan speed curve in Afterburner and now its on 54 with 35% fan speed. Dont know if this is normal for the card or should i trie to return it.
