Which card would be the best in price, and to my specs?

Hello there, thank you for taking the time to read my thread. I am looking towards getting a new graphics card. My budget is $150-$200 maximum.
My specs are:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz 2.40 GHz
RAM: 8.00 GB
Current GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250.
I am looking towards getting a card that will run good with my specs, and so that I can game at 1080p. Anything that is under $200
would be great. I don't have the time or money to save up for something like the GTX 980 etc.
Again, thank you for taking the time to read my thread and help me out. :)

Solution
That Antec psu is decent, but may be a little under powered for a 280. I recommend a GTX960 instead that performs the same as the 280.

Alright, and how would I check my PSU? Would I have to open my PC up? Thanks.

I figured out what PSU I have. It's Antec. Earthwatts Modell EA-500 (500 watts) That's all that I could see on the power supply when I opened it up. I think I'm going to go with the XFX R9 280 3GB. Would that run well with my computer?
