Hello everyone, i have a big problem, my desktop does not detect the new graphics card, until now i used the Intel 4000 CPU chip, i tried changing the slot and reset the motherboard but i have not solved, the card in question is the 960 Gigabyte G1 Gaming 2Gb SDDR5, this is my configuration: Intel i3 3225 3.30GHz cpu, motherboard Asus P8Z77-M pro, OS Windows 10 pro 64-bit, RAM GSkill 2x4MB double channel DDR3, SSD Samsung 830 series 64 Gb, HD Western Digital 2 Tb, PSU Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 520 modular cable system. I would be very grateful to anyone who could help me, i do not know what else to try, thank you in advance.

That opens up one troubleshooting option, remove your heatsink and remount. Make it snug, but not tight. If you sinch the motherboard the traces can cross, or even tear the PCB.

Hi, tysm, before trying i'll show you everything there is in the bios about the graphics section, would you be kind enough to write as i have set it up? Graphics configuration: IGPU frequency 350 MHz; primary display (now on "auto") or IGPU or PCIE; IGPU memory 1024; render standby now on enable; IGPU multi monitor now on enable. Another section: NB PCIE configuration-PCIE x16_1 link speed/PCIE x16-2 link speed all not present now auto or gen 1 or gen 2.

Primary display should be set to PCIE, go ahead and turn off IGPU multi monitor. What concerns me is the PCIE x16_1 saying not present. Did you plug in the two PCIE power connectors to the card? They will look like this http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/attachments/pcie6-2-jpg.57637/

Hi, yes i did it, my PSU has two of those. I agree with you, i think it's "not present" a big problem, i am very disheartened by this story and i don't know if the cause is the MB or the graphics card in the second case i can change it, the strange thing is that when i put the card in the other slot would not start the OS. Thank you really, you're the only person who is trying to give me help, so far no response even from Gigabyte assistance.

Is there another system you can try the card in? If so try it, and then try it with your power supply in the other system. If it works in both cases then the issue could be your motherboard or processor. Are you using the stock intel cooler?

Unfortunately i can not try it on another system / PC, not use cooling system as standard Intel but the Noctua NH-U9S fitted with dual fans.

I'm very grateful to you, i bought the cooler along with the graphics card and i put first, it's my fault, i must have the screws too tight,iIt is the first time and i was wrong, they are crooked 3 pin socket , the only slot that works is the pci for my sound card, i have already ordered a new motherboard, at this point also change the cpu so i update the pc . Kind regards.

No, no, thank you is the least i can do, i could understand the problem and figure out what had happened, and this is no small thing. However the motherboard was a bad purchase, for no reason i took a micro ATX, despite having a huge mid town, Cooler Master CM 690 2 USB 3, and even i have never been able to update the bios, i was told that those who did that had big problems, now updated the pc at 2014, intel Z97 (mb Gigabyte GA-Z97X-gaming 5) and cpu i5 4690 3.5 GHz, for the use i do is already over so there was no reason having to buy even the ram . Kind regards, Roberto.
