If you plan on playing Skyrim with a lot of mods at 1080p you are going to need more than 2GB of VRAM; I'd recommend 3GB minimum. When Sandy Bridge was new i3s lost a good chunk of FPS in Skyrim to i5s. Like Suztera said make sure you get a quality PSU, don't skimp on it. Ideal for Skyrim 1080p would be an i5 cpu wise and graphics wise the GTX 970 or 280X, or an R9 390. You could get a 4GB version of the GTX 960 or R9 380 is those are outside your budget.
