Hello,

Just a small question came up in my mind that whether more number of USB Devices connected to my Optiplex 380 (2 front, 6 rear) slow down windows. To elaborate it, KB and Mouse are the essential ones, along with these 2, I have TP-LINK USB WIFI Adapter, a printer and a receiver for my XBOX 360 controller.

I know its a noobish question but still I am a bit curious about it :D
Thanks in advance

USB devices have not much of an impact when in windows, but the more devices are being loaded during boot can slow the boot down slightly; you can prioritize what to load in the BIOS to make it primarily the kb/m and OS drive to speed things up.
