Formatting HHD and reinstalling windows on SSD

HI all,
I am currently running windows 7 on my HDD 1TB and now it is pretty slow. I just purchased a new SDD a couple of days ago and I want to install a new windows 8 and also formatting the old wins 7. Is there any Idea on how to do it?

Just like any other Windows version. You buy a Windows 8 installation DVD and boot your PC from it to start 'Windows Setup'.

You can format the existing HDD from within Windows 8 once it's up and running.

One thing you need to check first though is driver availability for your motherboard or PC model. It's no good installing Windows 8 only to find the manufacturer hasn't released any Windows 8 drivers for your model. So check first on the manufacturer's website.
