CPU-Z and Task Manager only detect one core (G3258)

Hello,

Joined this forum with hopes that someone can solve my problem. After installing Windows 10 on my G3258, I tried overclocking it. When I checked CPU-Z, it showed that I only had one core, despite the G3258 being a dual core.

And yes, both of my cores are enabled in the BIOs setup.

EDIT: Seems that installing the latest Windows updates re-enabled all cores. Now to find a way to close this thread...

Says 4.2GHz up there. Disabling the OC doesn't fix the problem either, I still have 1 processor.

Don't know if this is the same with Windows 10, but try the following:
Windows button + R ---> type "msconfig" and hit enter.
select the "boot" menu on top and click on "advanced options".
Check the "number of processors" box and select the correct core number below
Save and restart windows
