good high end gaming build?

Solution
That is not really an optimal build. Knock back to a lower CPU like a 4790K and corresponding motherboard. Stick to a 500GB SSD, and use the money you save to grab a second 980TI. Either CPU will not be a bottleneck and you will not get any better performance in games with one or the other. Given load times on a standard HDD, just get a 2TB for games that don't take forever. Stick to 2x8GB 1866 memory, latency to speed ratios don't offer much if any improvement, in addition the number of modules and channels can add stress to the CPU negatively impacting overclocking.

That's just about perfect for 4K gaming, only way to do better is wait for the Pascal cards to come out (who wants to do that!?)
