Hi everyone,
I'm experiencing a whole bunch of issues here and i seriously don't know what to do with it.
It's about the "nvidia driver has stopped working and was restored message"
This only happens to me when i am ingame.. It happens after 3 minutes ingame.
It used to happen with no heavy games like sims but nowadays it also happens in games like the crew and other heavier games. (Starcraft not an issue)
Anyways, i checked out a few things and ended up with the problem still not being resolved:
- Tested it out with a new driver update
- Tried shutting down all other background programs while gaming
- Changed registry keys to lower down the TdrDelay
- Ran system diagnostic tools to exclude problems with ram, cpu, lack of overall power usage of the system is excluded.
- Boosted up the fan rpm to cool down the card more during gaming
I did follow the usage status and clocks and stuff at the gainward expert tool and the results where rather a bit concerning.

Pic 1 = While game boots up
Pic 2 = Ingame
Pic 3 = Game crashes, sometimes returns to desktop displaying this image. Sometimes like in sims, after it freezes and displays the message, system picks itsself up again and continues the game.
Pic 4 = system info on the GPU
Pic 5 = 3-5 minutes after the game crashed so, i think this can be considered as average usage.
Is there anything i can do? I never had any issues, i was even able to play gta 5 without having crashes, this problem only came 2 weeks ago and it is turning out to be very hateful.
System info:
- Intel core 2700k 3.50GHz
- 16GB Ram 1600MHz 4*4GB
- Samsung Evo 850 SSD 500GB
- Multiple hdd(3) which are irrelevant for the issue, drivers are installed on the SSD just like the OS.
- Gainward Phantom 770GTX 4GB Graphic card
- 2 displays: Asus ve8q 27" full hd + 19" mirai monitor (I have gamed using both of the displays so i don't think it is an issue)
-OCZ 750Watt PSU
- Windows 7 64Bit Professional
- The case is supplied with 6 fans, 2 big ones, 4 smaller ones
