My PC can run almost every game on highest settings at 1080p, but in every single game I play on it, it gives massive fps drops (for example: 100 fps to 20 fps for 10 seconds) it makes some competitive games unplayable at times. In cs:go it goes from 250 to 40 sometimes.
I have upgraded my radeon 270x to a gtx 970, but the problem still occurs.
I have also looked at the forums and I have tried to turn off the "quiet 'n' cool" option in the BIOS wich has been a solution for some other people with this issue, but no luck. I've also tried to turn off a few cores, still no improvement.
