My computer doesn't recognize my second hard drive.

My system has a 250GB ssd and a 1T regular hard drive, the latter for data. When I open My Computer only the ssd is recognized. I've gone into disk management and there both of the drives are recognized (showing blue not black, and also Healthy). Any ideas why the 1T drive doesn't show up in My Computer.

In Disk Management, at the top of the center section, there are 3 volumes listed:
(C:)
DATA
System Reserved (D:)
C and D are part of the ssd.
I'm not sure if "DATA" qualifies as a letter assignment.
